What is a Thriller

A thriller is a genre of film that use tension and susepense as its main elements. Tension is normally creaed when the protaginist is placed in a mencing environment or must solve a mystery or goon a dangerous mission in which the odds are agianst them. These films tend to be fast paced and keep the audience at the edge of thier seats constantly. Common stock characters in thriller films tend to be the psycho, the detective , the assassin, the victim and the criminals. Very common thriller narritives include a red herring several major plot twists, deception, conspiracy and death wheter it be pre determined, murder, accidental or a suicide.
